Matcha green smoothie bowl

Raw, cooling food in the Autumn season in Poland is not my thing but today I am tasting some recipes for the upcoming cooking event in the Santorini Island (yaay!:)) where the sun still shines and Summer didn’t say goodbye yet. And having a sporty, warming morning it feels good to enjoy this fresh and light bowl of greenness.


1 big smoothie bowl
100 ml vegan milk (oat milk was used here)
100 ml water
1 banana (sliced and frozen beforehand but ok to use a fresh one)
1 ripe kiwi
2 handfuls of spinach leaves
1 tsp cashew butter
0,5 tsp coconut oil
2 tsp chia seeds
0,5 tsp matcha powder
small piece of ginger
pinch of salt
1 tsp barley grass powder (optional)

Cup blender will be best to use here – just add all the ingredients, pour over milk and water and blend until smooth. For me the banana makes the smoothie sweet enough but feel free to use your fav sweetener (honey, maple syrup) if you are more on the sweet side. Top with ingredients of choice – here: pistachios, mulberry, maca powder, bee pollen, coconut chips. Enjoy freshly prepared!:)
