Faces of Sapa

Ethnic minority people in North Vietnam (I’ve visited villages of H’Mong, Dzay and Dzao) are very open, friendly smile back at you with the biggest smiles and the only flaw is the fact that 98% of them wants to sell something. Anyway, when refused (gently but firmly) they change the topic and ask about your name, country of origin, age etc. If you try to talk a little Vietnamese they become even more cheerful. Their amazing, vibrating with colours clothes are enough of a reason to visit this area. Made with hemp or cotton, hand embroidered and fully decorated they make the women look like real queens of those mountains!
