Chocolate bliss balls with young barley powder

Simple and easy path to discover chocolate bliss. Sweet, healthy and guilt-free. Just a few ingredients, a blender, some manual work and in 30 minutes you arrive at the ‘Chocolate joy’ planet.

RECIPE

15-16 bliss balls (really depends on what size you choose to make it):
0,5 glass nuts/seeds of choice (I use hazelnuts, peanuts and sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds, walnuts and cashews)
0,5 glass raw, crushed cacao nibs (you can easily find them in bio/organic shops or substitute with 2-3 full tbsp of raw cocoa powder)
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp young barley powder
2 tbsp raisins
12 dates
2 tbsp goji berries (optionally)
2 tbsp peanut butter
pinch of salt
2 tbsp coconut milk (or vegan milk of choice)

Roast the nuts and seeds on the hot pan (separate the bigger nuts and smaller seeds). Let cool and mix in a blender till they turn into powder. Add all the other ingredients and blend until the texture is rather smooth. Roll into balls and cool in the fridge for 20-30 min (or longer). Cover in cocoa powder, young barley powder or carob powder just before serving. They taste best when chilled. Enjoy!
